Riding in style!

I got tired of my old Bell sweep helmet smelling funky after a day of work. I have had this helmet for over a year and it still holds up but i thought to get something new. Introducing my new Bell Volt helmet!

New system

There is this new system we have been using at work. It cuts outs out the need for paper by letting the receiver of the package sign on the screen. Also with this new device you can look at your orders and talk as a two-way radio.

Houston Bike Polo

Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 8pm people have small games of bike polo in the back parking lot of Chelsea Market. Thursday i was able to catch up with people there and see a few matches. I Love bike polo, mainly as a spectator, the game is to rough for my liking but other local cyclists don't seem to mind the risk of damaging of their bikes. My hats off to them, hopefully Houston can come through and represent in a tournament some other city, state, or possibly country.

Case of the mondays...

Mondays, sometimes they start slow and sometimes they start quickly. This was one of those slow mondays. I caught up with John Wayne while he was playing with his phone, then finally got some work.

After lunch i got a chance to sit down with some veterans, Brandt and Thomas(trouble). My favorite part of the day is when i can sit down after eating lunch. During lunch this rookie(not pictured) sitting with us was starting to get pissy about not getting any work. So i thought to give him some words, i said "Hey! you should take it easy. It might be slow now, but learn to enjoy it cause there will be times where you wont be able to sit down for the whole day." He accepted my advice and then before i knew it work for me started pouring in.

Finally on my way to my apartment after dashing around downtown i get on my street, take my hands of the handle bars and sit up. All of the sudden i feel my backpack sucking into my rear wheel. I dismount over the handle bars to see the strap connecting the female clip got stuck in the rear brake. YIKES!!! good thing this didn't happen during work or this would've been a lot scarier.
